Abby and Wolf 3! I have so much fun making these!
Also, Selich got a lot of love this week… I’m glad everyone enjoyed it! your tags and messages gave me warm fuzzies! I want to do something more with them, but I haven’t figured out the right story.. so until then, there probably wont be more, besides a doodle here and there.
Hi guys!! So as a part of the Artist Program at Nickelodeon, we have to do a weekly update for their facebook page. Our guidelines were fairly simple, we had to make sure that it wasn’t too much work, and it was suggested that we do something that doesn’t take more than about 2 hours to do.
I decided to do a comic called Abby and Wolf, which is about a little girl who see’s things a little bit differently, and happens to become friends with a wolf.
Because of the time we’re allowed to work on these, I’ve been using it as an opportunity to experiment with limited color palettes, page layouts, and small stories. The color schemes change with each little story, some are a few pages, some are single pages!
They’re quick, sketchy, and over all a lot of fun to do, so I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I love making them! I’ll be uploading them every Thursday after they go on the Nick Artist page!
Thats all! later gators!
Burd doodles from Twitter~
I’d like to try some more abstract drawings later.

Thank you Anon!! I hope that you have a good experience there! Enjoy the mountains if you can!!
I started work this week at Nickelodeon in the Artist Program as a storyboard artist!! Realizing that I could afford to foot the bill of a vet visit, Razzle must have gone hog wild and got into a bad fight. He limped around for a few days and wasn’t getting better so.. we took him in.
The good news, he’s okay. The bad news… making sure your pets are healthy is expensive….
I literally can’t get over how ironically perfect the timing of this was.
